I Would Readily Donate Plasma Without Any Second Thought: Vijay Devarakonda
Happening hero Vijay Devarakonda always stands in front when it comes to helping others. He recently came forward to felicitate Plasma donors. The Cyberabad Police felicitated the Plasma donors at Commissionerate office on Friday and Vijay Devarakonda arrived as chief guest for this event and even launched a campaign poster.
Commissioner of Police, Sajjannar hosted the event and while addressing the media he said, 'I appreciate the Plasma donors. Despite some misinterpretation on this, people are coming forward to donate Plasma. If one recovered patient donates 500 ML of Plasma, two Covid-19 patients can be saved. Today 120 people donated Plasma and so far, 200 people were saved/got cured. Those who have done this are saviors and are equal to the almighty. It is our social responsibility to donate Plasma.'
Vijay Devarakonda who addressed the gathering said, 'Last month, a couple of people whom I know were infected of Covid-19. They needed Plasma but they could not find donors. Earlier there was confusion on donating Plasma and for all those people, donateplasma.scsc.in will clear their doubts and misunderstandings. People who have recovered from Covid-19 should come forward and donate Plasma as we don't know when would vaccine come out for public use. For now, the only weapon we have is Plasma. In case if I get Corona and recover, I would readily donate Plasma without any second thought,' said Vijay Devarakonda.
