Veteran actress KR Vijaya's husband Sudarshan Velayudham breathed his last on Saturday at Calicat in Kerala.
Between 70s & 80s, KR Vijaya was the No.1 Actress down South. She acted with stalwarts like NTR, MGR, ANR, Shivaji Ganesan and Gemini Ganesan. She married film financier and producer Sudarshan Velayudham in 1966. Initially, Mr.Sudarshan used to run a chit fund company. Later, He started producing Tamil movies.
From some time, Sudarshan Velayudham has been suffering from age related issues. He passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
KR Vijaya and Sudarshan have a daughter named Hemalatha. The celebrity family shifted base to Kerala long back.
Last rites of Sudarshan Velayudham will be performed at Calicut. Rest in Peace!
