Akkineni Nagarjuna is known for his sensible moves. He was always appreciated by Industry Folks & Public for planning things in the right way. Particularly, Tollywood King used to be too good when it comes to planning the release dates. He deserves the credit for making Tollywood believe Christmas season can't be missed. His tactical moves not only made few films earn more money than they should have, considering the content. For some reason, The Akkineni Hero lost his midas touch!
The first big blow was underestimating Nani & Sai Pallavi-starrer 'MCA' and making his son Akhil pay the price. A film like 'Hello' could have collected more than double than what it did had if the clash was averted.
And now, Nagarjuna made a blunder in the case of 'Chi La Sow'. He delayed the clash with 'Mission Impossible' franchise on July 27th just because his movie is a class movie. At the same time, He underestimated 'Goodachari' which arrived on the same date (August 3rd). Had if he delayed the release for a week or so at least after watching the breath-taking promos of the Spy Thriller, 'Chi La Sow' would have been a hit.
Two Costly Mistakes...! Planning the release correctly is as important as making a good movie. Hope, Nag retains his midas touch very soon!
