The Megastar of Tollywood, Chiranjeevi on his own came forward and started the novel charity Organization- Corona Crisis Charity. This brain child of Chiranjeevi aims at providing essential commodities to the needy daily wagers in Tollywood. There is Directors Association President N Shankar helping Chiranjeevi in framing the plans of the Organization.
Chiranjeevi has earlier revealed that the Corona Crisis Charity has identified almost 12,000 cine workers who are in difficulty to feed themselves in the lockdown. The CCC members have given them the daily essential supply kits.
Now all the daily wagers and their unions are not yet self reliant to feed themselves as the crisis became more serious. The Union members opined that Chiranjeevi can't help us all the time and till now we are alive only because of his good work and charity.
As there are no shootings from the past 4 months we are unable to pay the rents and many of our men and colleagues went to their villages in search of a livelihood. Few are in hope that anytime our work would resume and thus we can feed ourselves.
On the other side commoners in Film Nagar if Hyderabad said that the hotspots of the area are just empty and the tiffin centres and complexes here were shutdown now and we cannot see a trace of men or women here in this place that provided livelihood for many.
The daily wagers requested governments of both the states to look into their matter and provide them aid until their works resumed!
It remains to be seen whether Chiranjeevi takes lead in the second phase of charity works to provide food essentials to this poor families!
