TFDC Chairman Makes Sensational Comments On Reopening Of Theatres!

Update: 2020-08-25 06:56 GMT
The government of India gave permission for film and television shows to restart their shootings by following the given safety measures. While many thought that it is good news, big films with high-budgets and heavy casts are not so enthusiastic to start the shootings right away keeping in mind the COVID-19 virus.

Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) chairman Ram Mohan Rao recently spoke with an English daily regarding this major development. He claimed that shootings are unlikely to resume till the Corona pandemic is controlled despite the government giving permission.

He opened up about the movie theatres reopening too. Ram Mohan Rao says, 'Even if we take the risk and resume shooting, where will we release them? People are not able to attend their relatives' funerals, why will they go to cinema halls?' With the number of cases increasing with each passing day, we need to wait and see how things turn out in the coming days.
