The Telugu film industry has seen some wild statements from actors and directors before movie releases this year. One of the most talked-about is Raju Weds Rambai, releasing this Friday. At the pre-release event, debutant director Saailu Kaampati shocked everyone by saying that if the film got negative talk on November 21, he would stand in Ameerpet wearing only underwear. The statement went viral instantly. To attract more crowds, the team also dropped ticket prices to just Rs. 99 for single screens and Rs. 105 for multiplexes. The film stars newcomers Akhil Raj Uddemari and Tejaswini Rao and is said to have a shocking climax based on a real-life incident from the Khammam–Warangal border.

Another bold claim came from actor Naveen Chandra for his film Eleven. During a press event, he promised fans that if they didn’t like the movie, they could get their ticket money back. He said, “If you don’t like the film, you have the right to ask for your ticket back. If you feel like your time has been wasted, you also have the right to question it.” His statement quickly went viral, creating massive curiosity about the film before its release.

Producer Bunny Vas also made headlines with a fiery statement at the Mithra Mandali pre-release event. Responding to trolls and negative social media chatter, he said, “You can’t do anything to me or my film, brother.” The statement was seen as a direct challenge to anyone trying to harm the movie’s prospects and became a major talking point online, even though the film eventually flopped after release.

Lastly, producer Naga Vamsi made a bold promise for WAR 2. He told fans that if they were disappointed, he wouldn’t hold the mic again to ask them to watch his movies. After the film’s mixed response at the box office, Vamsi humorously clarified that mistakes happen and blamed some issues on Yash Raj Films’ content, not his team’s distribution efforts.
