The positive cases of the novel coronavirus in Maharashtra are increasing day by day making it the state with the most number of positive cases. On top of that, the attendees of the religious congregation held at the Maskaz Masjid of the Nizamuddin area of Delhi has resulted in the rise of the cases at once.
Following this, the government has asked the public those who have taken part in the congregation to voluntarily report to the authorities so that they can be tested for the dreaded virus.
With the attendees not responding properly the government has started a manhunt by tracing all the details and they were been tested accordingly.
As part of these searching, a senior police officer has caught 21 foreigners who have been taking shelter at the local masjid at the Mubra area, near Mumbai. Upon checking them it is found out that they went to the Maskaz Masjid.
All the 21 foreigners were tested positive for the dreaded virus and the medical officials were tracing out the details of people who have come in contact with them. It has been reported that cases were filed on the Majids and schools that accommodated them
Upon questioning, they said that they reached Mabra from Tamil Nadu via Mumbai after the congregation. Out of the 21 persons, 11 members hail from Bangladesh while the remaining 8 belong to Malaysia.
Police urged the locals to not provide shelter to the foreigners without giving prior intimation for the police department as the positive cases are rising rapidly in the state.
