16,264 Violators Booked In Telangana For Not Wearing Masks

Following the growing number of positive cases of the dreaded disease, the Telangana government directed the concerned authorities to see that people follow the safety measures, and the authorities were also observed with a keen eye on the violators.

The official data reveals that between May 7th to May 19th, around 16,264 violators were booked by the Telangana Police who did not wear face masks at the public places.

All these violators were slapped with a fine of Rs 1,000 each who were booked under the Disaster Management Act Sec 51(b). The cops used Artificial Intelligence to track down the violators.

After finding any violators, the Control rooms of the respective areas inform the patrol teams and then the teams reach the violators and they will be imposed fine instantly.
