Cops register FIR against Twitter and journalist for giving communal touch to Ghaziabad case

The Ghaziabad Muslim Man's case, which has sent shocking waves across the country where he was reportedly assaulted took an interesting turn after the Cops registered an FIR against Twitter, a few journalists, and a website.

According to the media reports, the FIR was filed on the grounds of reportedly giving a communal touch to the post. The accused made tweets on the issue, without verifying the tweets.

The FIR complaint states that the accused tried to destroy communal harmony by giving a communal angle to the incident. The accused made tweets without checking for credibility.

Going into detail, a video clip went viral on social media in which a Muslim Man, Abdul Samad was seen assaulted. Media reports are abuzz that the attackers had shaved his beard and reportedly forced him to chant Jai Shri Ram.

The cops arrested Parvesh Gujjar, Kallu Gujjar, and Adil in connection with the case. Gujjar with the help of his associates attacked Samad as the amulet he sold had a negative impact.

The incident has resulted in Twitter facing a big blow after the microblogging site lost its legal protection. As per the media reports, Twitter was charged for "Provoking Communal Sentiments"
