Cricket Fans have been given an opportunity to cool off at the pitch-side swimming pool at the Gabba in Australia while watching the First Test of the ongoing Ashes Series.
Michael Langridge, an Australian Fan, was selected for cooling-off in the swimming pool at the stadium on Day 2. He made the most out of the chance by getting on one knee to propose to his girlfriend Tori Roebuck. Much to his delight, She accepted the proposal immediately with a tight hug and everyone present there cheered for them.
The Youngster told he has been planning to make the love proposal since three months. 'I love Ashes since my childhood. I wanted to share that with Tori here,' he said.
In December 2006, The 32,000-litre Swimming Pool was opened for the Test Match between Australia and Pakistan.
In the first test of Ashes, England were all-out for 302 in the 1st Innings. Australia were 322/9 and they have attained a crucial lead of 20 so far. Steven Smith who scored a match-saving century is still batting.
