Southern State Karnataka suffered a massive controversy in the form of the Hijab issue which eventually went to the state High Court. The Muslim students are taking forward the fight against the alleged discrimination as they continue to go to the educational institutions in Hijab.

While the Muslim students are adamant on their stand, the educational institutions are also firm on following the instructions given by the Karnataka High Court. Citing the court orders, the institutions are not allowing the students with religious attire and sending the students back despite uproar from the students and organisations.

The Hijab issue is slowly passing to other regions as well, It was reported that Bhopal and other regions reported similar incidents, and the Muslim students were reportedly asked to go back if they cannot follow the guidelines of not wearing any religious attire.

Spreading its wings further, the issue is said to have reached Telugu State Andhra Pradesh. According to the information, a college in temple city Vijayawada said no to the Muslim students coming to the institution in the religious wear.

A tense situation aroused outside the college with the Muslim students confronting the management of the concerned college for not letting them in. The students asked how come they are not allowed when they have been coming to college in the same dress for quite some time.

Seeing that the students not getting to enter the college for the dress they are wearing, a few Muslim organisations and religious heads are said to have reached the spot and argued with the college management.

They have asked why the college management is behaving like this as the students are wearing the Hijab since they have been coming to the institutions. Showing the ID cards, the students are asking why the management allowed their pictures with Hijab when they have issues.

The Hijab, which was not an issue earlier and was permitted at the time of college admission and while allotting ID cards has now become an issue. We don't know why things have changed rapidly and the College management is not giving any right reason, the students reportedly said.
