Ganta Welcomes The Decision To Have Capital In Vishakapatnam

The protests observed by Amaravati region farmers are getting intensified day by day with women and children also hitting the roads opposing the government's decision to have three capitals.

While former CM, TDP supremo has opposed the decision to shift the capital from Amaravati and said he will not celebrate the new year eve.

"Some people are misinterpreting his comments, they are promoting false news in social media, " he said rubbishing the rumours of him leaving the TDP party.

Talking about the decision to establish the capital in Vishakapatnam he said he will welcome this move as he has 30 years of association with the city. He also said that farmers who have sacrificed 33,000 of land should be served justice.

Ganta said he supports TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's decision to not celebrate New Year. He added that we should not let the city lose its brand image. The government should also make sure there will be no issues of law and order in the city.

While his party chief openly opposed his decision, Ganta welcoming the government's move to select Vishapatnamhas created a sensation in the political circles. This has added fuel to the rumours of leaving the TDP party.
