People needn't depend on GPS trackers alone any more as two Hyderabadis have come up with World's first interactive haptic footwear which guides people to reach their destination based on the vibrations from shoes.
Kris-pian Lawrence and Anirudh Sharma, who are the CEO & Co-founder of Ducere Technologies, started a mission to design it for easy mobility for the visually impaired. After some time, the thought of developing a stylish footwear brand called 'Lechal' came to their mind.
How does this footwear work? An App on your smartphone will be ensuring a connectivity with your footwear using the bluetooth option. Using voice controls, the user could interact with the App and set a destination. Then the mobile's GPS will be used to calculate the location data and directions would be conveyed using vibrations in the footwear.
