In the World Happiness Report 2017 unveiled on the eve of United Nations International Day of Happiness (March 20th), India was ranked worse then countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan. The Tri-Color Nation managed just 122nd position in the rankings given to 155 Countries based on happiness.
Happiness Rankings were offered based on Income, Corruption, Personal Freedom, Generosity, Inequality, Public Trust, GDP and Life Expectancy.
Pakistan - 80th Rank; Bhutan: 97th Rank; Nepal: 99th Rank; Bangladesh: 110th Rank; Sri Lanka: 120th Rank.
Norway has been ranked as World's Most Happiest Country. Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland and Finland feature in the Top 5. While USA was ranked 14th, Britain managed to be at 19th Spot. Yemen, South Sudan and Syria were placed at 146, 147 and 152 positions.
