Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the 95th annual plenary session of the Indian Chamber of Commerce(ICC) through video conference said that India will win the combat over the pandemic.
Modi emphasized that creating bamboo and organic product plants, the North-East region could turn into a major organic hub. He said that the ongoing pandemic might be the driving force that makes India self-reliant as the nation is fighting the crisis.
Modi maintained that the ongoing pandemic is not only the problem faced by India as the country is also combating issues like locust swarms invasion, the gas well explosion in Assam's Tinsukia, and Amphan Cyclone.
The PM said that the lessons of Aatamnirbhar start at home and it is time for India to turn self-reliant and urged people to be vocal for local.
Mr. Modi added that in recent times Carbon emissions have also reduced in India recently and by doing so 19,000 crores have been saved by the Indian public with wide range use of the LED bulbs.
