Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is known as a proficient speaker and his political opponents even accept this fact. As KCR has been a voracious reader right from his childhood he has wonderful command over the language. KCR didn't forget his first 'guru' who has recognised his interest in the language and inspired him to study several literary works of renowned Telugu writers including Bammera Pothana.
KCR felicitated his first guru Mrutyunjaya Sharma at the inauguration ceremony of World Telugu Conference in Hyderabad. He presented him a shawl, a memento and touched his feet to seek blessings from him. He recalled that it was Mrutyunjaya Sharma who inspired him to read wonderful literary works of Telugu writers during his school studies.
KCR said that several famous writers enriched Telugu language and their services to the language will be remembered by the Telugu people. He recalled the names of famous writers like Kaloji Narayana Rao, Varadacharyulu, Suravaram Pratap Reddy, Suddala Hanumanthu, C.
