Congress party senior leader and Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir has accused telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of turning the rich state  into a 'crisis state'.

He alleged that KCR has turned Telangana with Rs 7,500 crore surplus at the time of bifurcation into a Rs 70,000-crore debt-ridden state. Ali blamed the KCR for his inexperience, mismanagement and "wrong policies" of the TRS government.

He demanded that the TRS government issue a White Paper on the State's financial status. The Congress leader slammed KCR for taking "immature" decisions.

He said the education sector was in deep troubles due to non-clearance of fee reimbursement. He accused the TRS Government of having failed to come to the rescue of families of farmers who had committed suicide out of distress. He advised the Chief Minister to be cautious in taking decisions.
