Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao invited criticism by spending as much as Rs 35-40 crore for his newly built Camp Office. KTR, however, defended the lavish spending by saying it's not KCR's house but CM's bungalow and the same space will be used by future Chief Ministers as well.
This time, KCR sanctioned Rs 120 crore for construction of Home-cum-Offices to all the legislators in Telangana State. Each of these multi-storeyed structures will cost approximately Rs 1 crore. The 3-floor buildings will have three bedrooms, dining space, kitchen, puja room, VIP lounge, meeting hall, drawing room and bathrooms.
Opposition Parties were in a big dilemma now. They can't point fingers at KCR or TRS Leaders as even their MLAs will be receiving the newly built Home-cum-Offices.
Today, KCR has handed over the first Home-cum-Office to Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy.
