Nandyal By-Poll Counting Updates

Nandyal By-Poll Counting begun at 8 AM Today in Polytechnic College. The fate of Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy and Shilpa Mohan Reddy will be decided at the halfway stage of the 19 Rounds. Initially, Votes polled in Nandyal rural will be counted. Then, Nandyal Town and Goppadu Mandal will be covered.

1st Round: TDP leads with 1,198 votes. TDP - 5,477, YSRC - 4,279, Congress - 69.

2nd Round: Telugu Desam's lead increased to 2,960 votes by the end of second round.

3rd Round: The Ruling Party is much ahead of YSR Congress and the margin of difference stood at 5,876 votes.

4th Round: TDP leads with 9,653 votes. TDP - 6,465,477, YSRC - 2,859.

5th Round: TDP is 13,065 votes ahead of YCP. In this Round, Ruling Party got 6,975 votes and Main Opposition received 3,536 votes.

6th Round: Telugu Desam attained 16,368 votes majority. While 6,161 votes were polled for TDP, YSRC managed only 2,858 votes in this round.

7th Round: With 16,880 votes majority, TDP is in a dominating situation by the end of seventh round. TDP - 4,859 votes, YSR Congress - 4,347 votes. 

8th Round: TDP Candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy leads with 17,633 votes against his nearest opponent Shilpa Mohan Reddy.

Votes Share: TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy): 50,479 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy): Rs 32,342 votes, Congress: 516 votes.

9th Round: Telugu Desam ahead of YSR Congress by a margin of 18,137 votes.

10th Round: Majority of the Ruling Party surpassed 18,500 votes by the end of Tenth Round.

10th Round: TDP leading with 19,137 votes.

TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy) - 55,121 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy) - 35,498 votes, Congress - 516 votes.


11th Round: TDP lead crossed 20K mark by the end of eleventh round. Ruling Party now have a majority of 20,227 votes.

TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy) - 59,447 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy) - 39,220 votes, Congress - 516 votes.


12th Round: Telugu Desam stood 21,807 votes ahead of YSRC.

TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy) - 65,076 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy) - 43,269 votes, Congress - 738 votes.


13th Round: Ruling Party attained 23,267 votes majority.

TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy) - 70,766 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy) - 47,499 votes, Congress - 738 votes.


14th Round: TDP Candidate leads with 24,591 votes.

TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy) - 75,938 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy) - 51,347 votes, Congress - 898 votes.

15th Round: TDP leads with 26, 033 votes.

TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy) - 81,708 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy) - 55,675 votes, Congress - 1,064 votes


16th Round: For the first time, YSR Congress dominated in a Round after the counting process began. As a result, The majority of TDP Candidate has fallen to 25,042 votes.


17th Round: Telugu Desam attained a majority of 26,523 votes.

TDP (Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy) - 86,555 votes, YSR Congress (Shilpa Mohan Reddy) - 60,947 votes, Congress - 1,153 votes

18th Round: TDP's Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy continues to maintain a lead of over 26,000 votes.

19th Round: The majority of TDP Candidates supposed 27,000 votes by end of the final round.

TDP Candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy won against YSR Congress candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy by a margin of 27,466 votes.

TDP - 97,076 votes, YSR Congress - 69,610 votes, Congress - 1,382 votes, NOTA - 1,231 votes.


Postal Ballot:

An interesting development took place during the counting process of postal ballot. Out of total 250 valid votes, Only 39 of them have reached the counting centre in time and even those votes have been declared as invalid by the Officials.
