Chandrababu is known to win over even the toughest people. He knows how to confuse, contain and convince even rivals. He uses every method in his Machiavellian style book to bring people around. He has managed to woo everyone. But, all his suave and charm seem to have failed to convince one leader. That one leader, who has refused to take Chandrababu's bait is none other than word wizard and masterly politician Vundavalli Arunkumar. The former MP from Rajahmundry used to be part of YSR'sinntermost coterie and is now not attached to any party. But, getting him into the TDP would be political coup of sorts and it would leave the YSRCP thoroughly demoralised.

What more, Vundavalli has criticised the White Papers that Chandrababu issued and said that they were merely a pack of white lies. He even dared Chandrababu for an open debate on the issue. This shows that Vundavalli is not a saleable commodity. He has also sought to know why Chandrababu did not bring a White Paper on Polavaram issue. This shows that Vundavalli is not ready to barter his freedom for anything.
