For God's sake, Please consider separate Telangana,' he told to Pranab.

Sonia told to Pranab - 'There is no better Leader than you to be President of India. But, We can't ignore the crucial role you have been playing in UPA Government. So, Can you suggest any other name for President's post?'. Pranab ended the conversation saying he will abide by the party's decision whatever it might be. In his book, Pranab confessed having assumed Sonia might make Manmohan Singh as President and elevate him as PM. However, Sonia decided to send Pranab to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. While announcing the decision, Sonia told Pranab that UPA willn't only miss his expertise but also the fire in him while having a smile on her face.
