BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju on Thursday raised the issue of booking cases against people just for uttering the words 'Don't Touch Me!'. He asked the concerned minister to give a clarity if it is something objectionable/abusive remark.
Vishnu Kumar Raju: "Recently, I have gone to Tirumala. When I stood in the queue inside the temple, Few People tried to push me and I appealed them 'Don't Touch Me!'. This led to a controversy!Fortunately, No cases have been booked against me on similar charge".
Endowments Minister P Manikyala Rao informed the House there is nothing wrong in saying 'Don't Touch Me!' and promised to respond on the issue after collecting a detailed report.
In a way, This issue irked the ruling party as Police have booked cases against YSR Congress MLA Bhuma Nagireddy during the MLC Elections for saying 'Don't Touch Me!'.
