Anant and Akash Ambani, from Reliance Industries, have topped the list of India's wealthiest individuals with a combined fortune of ₹3.59 lakh crore. Isha Ambani is recognised as the richest woman in business, with a net worth of ₹3.58 lakh crore, ranking her third overall. This information comes from the 360 ONE Wealth Creators List 2025, compiled in collaboration with CRISIL.

The list includes 2,013 individuals, each possessing at least ₹500 crore in assets. Collectively, their wealth amounts to ₹100 lakh crore, which is about one-third of India's GDP. The median net worth among these individuals stands at ₹1,423 crore. Following the Ambanis are Vinodbhai, Gautambhai, and Rajesh Adani from the Adani Group, with fortunes of ₹2.72 lakh crore, ₹2.48 lakh crore, and ₹2.16 lakh crore respectively.

Young Wealth Creators and Industry Insights

A notable trend is the emergence of young Indian wealth creators; 143 individuals on the list are under 40 years old. Shashvat Nakrani, aged 27 and co-founder of BharaPe, is the youngest among them. Promoters from Reliance, Adani, and Tata Group contribute nearly 24% to the total promoter wealth estimated at ₹36 lakh crore.

The top 50 business houses account for 59% of the total wealth on this list. Reliance and Adani Enterprises alone hold a significant share of 12%. Among first-generation billionaires under 40 years old, digital disruptors are prominent; 46% have amassed wealth through online platforms.

Sectoral Contributions to Wealth

Approximately 60% of this new wealth originates from sectors like fintech, e-commerce, edtech, and investment platforms such as Zerodha and Upstox. Swiggy and PhysicsWallah also contribute significantly. In terms of industries driving wealth creation, pharma leads with 174 billionaires followed by financial services (158) and IT (134).

Banking, telecoms, and aviation sectors generate the highest per capita wealth. Geographically speaking, Mumbai remains India's financial hub with 577 wealthy individuals controlling 40% of total wealth. New Delhi accounts for 17%, Bengaluru for 8%, while Ahmedabad holds a share of 5%.

Women Leaders in Business

The list highlights the presence of women leaders in business growth; it features 72 women founders actively contributing to their respective fields. This representation underscores their growing influence in shaping India's economic landscape.
