Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy needs no introduction. In the previous elections, he became the talk of the town by defeating Nara Lokesh. His fight against the alleged irregularities in the Amaravati issue raised many eyeballs. Ahead of the general elections, he gave a big shock to the ruling YSRCP.

He decided to walk with Ys Sharmila and left the YCP. He sent his resignation to the speaker and also resigned from the party. Alla Ramakrishna Reddy made some crucial comments on the occasion and said that he could develop his constituency as he wanted to as he did not get the support.

After he left the party and decided to walk with YS Sharmila it was reported that he might get a ticket from the Congress party. But it looks like things have changed and the MLA might return back to the party. If everything goes well, he might come back to the YCP fold.

Media reports are abuzz that the YSRCP leadership wants to have a second thought on the MLA. He won two consecutive terms and it is said that the majority of the cadre in the constituency is with the MLA. If the party goes ahead without him then it would be a big loss.

This might also result in making things easy for Nara Lokesh for his win in Mangalagiri. A few leaders were given the task to hold talks with Alla Ramakrishna Reddy to bring him back to the party.

Given the hold he has on the constituency, it would not be a wonder if he is announced as the candidate from the Mangalagiri seat. Let us wait and see what happens next in the Mangalagiri constituency episode.
