The cinematography minister of Telangana Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is a very dynamic personality and he has never delivered a very interesting statement in connection with the hiked ticket prices. The Telangana Cinematography Minister has made it clear that he is not involved in matters related to the film industry, especially when it comes to benefit shows and ticket price hikes.

Speaking in Hyderabad, the minister said that after the release of Pushpa 2, he openly informed film producers not to approach him with requests for special benefit shows or for increasing ticket prices. He stated that he wants to maintain a clear distance from such decisions and does not wish to interfere in commercial aspects of cinema. The minister further explained that no files related to films, whether already released or scheduled for upcoming releases, have come to him for approval or discussion. According to him, there is a misconception that the cinematography department or the minister personally clears such requests, which he said is not true in his case.

He stressed that his focus is on policy matters and not on individual films or producers. By making this statement, the minister aimed to send a strong message that filmmakers should not expect political backing for benefit shows or ticket price hikes. He added that the film industry should function within the existing rules and regulations without seeking special permissions or favors. This clarification comes at a time when debates around ticket pricing and special shows continue to draw public attention.
