The ruling YSRCP has its eyes on winning another election and making a second win in a row. The party is making its move along the same lines. The leadership and the leaders are confident of this. However, contrary to this, we are seeing internal fights in a few seats.
Recently we have seen a few leaders protesting against Minister Roja saying that they would not support her in Nagari if she is given the seat again. They staged a protest holding placards. The fight became the talk of the town and grabbed everyone’s attention.
Now another constituency saw a similar scene. A sitting MLA and former Minister are having internal issues as they held different meetings creating debate that they are facing issues with each other. With this, the debate started on who would get the ticket this time.
Janasena’s sole MLA Rapaka Vara Prasada Rao who won from the Razole is walking with the YCP and it is said that he would get the ticket this time from the party. He is said to have had issues with former Minister Gollapalli Surya Rao. As an example of this, two camps held separate celebrations of YCP formation day.
At the meeting, Rapaka made crucial comments and said that tickets should be given to candidates who get good reviews in the surveys as only winning candidates should get tickets. It is also said Rapaka indirectly said Gollapalli Surya Rao might not win the elections.
Earlier Rapaka expressed his interest in contesting from the Amalapuram seat. At a meeting, he said this in front of the sitting MP. The MLA said that if given a chance he would contest from the seat leaving everyone surprised.
But it looks like Rapaka had a change of mind as he wants to contest the Razole seat again. Reports say that his supporters want him to contest as MLA and not MP. With this, he is reportedly putting his best efforts into getting the ticket. With the MLA and former Minister eyeing the seat we have to see who would get the ticket.
