Everybody knows the spiritual angle of Victory Venkatesh. Whenever he gives interview.. he will touch the topic of spirituality. When he speaks about spirituality he appears to be another Venky altogether. Talking about spirituality being a star hero surprises many people. How this kind of transformation started in Venky..why did he travel in the path of spirituality ? Venky shared about these things in the Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu show hosted by Megastar Chiranjeevi.
He told that "Those were the days of 'Preminchukundam Ra' sensational success. The movie was so much successful beyond our expectations. So we have taken up success tours through out the state. We toured in many places. We got wonderful response from the people. They gave us great reception. People turned up in huge numbers for our last tour also. There was so much euphoria".
"But suddenly I got a different feeling. In fact, I should have been happy there. But I didn't see the happiness. There was so much dissatisfaction. I couldn't enjoy those things. Then I started thinking about myself deeply. I started reading the books of Ramana Maharshi. Then I understood that the life we are leading is not the real life. We are not us.. but there will be another person inside us. I got inclined towards spirituality from then".
"My perspective towards life has been changed from then. Even my lifestyle has been changed. Suddenly I go to Himalayas alone sometimes. I catch a Delhi flight and from there I go to Himalayas".
