Victory Venkatesh is one of the senior star heroes who used to do films continuously without any break in the past. But everything has changed after 'Gopala Gopala'. There was more than 1 year gap for him.. the reason for the gap is still a mistery. So much confusion prevailed regarding his next film after 'Gopala Gopala'. Names of several directors heard before he finalized 'Babu Bangaram'. But director Maruthi couldn't make it a succesful venture at the box office, Venky opted for remake 'Guru' for his next film.
He has completed the film very fast.. just in three months. He gave green signal to director Kishore Tirumala for 'Aadallu Meeku Joharlu' while 'Guru' was on the sets. Somehow the movie didn't materialize. Coming to the present.. 'Guru' was wrapped up long ago in December and it is getting ready for the release in Summer but Venky has not finalized his next project.
Puri Jagannadh and Krish names were heard as the next probable directors of Venky after Kishore Tirumala. Puri teamed up with Balayya now..and Krish project is out of question because they did not get the rights for the basic story. So.. the confusion of 'Gopala Gopala' days surfaced again.
