Powerstar Pawan Kalyan fans were pretty chilled until yesterday. The Dekhlenge Saala promo dropped, everyone felt confident, “Okay, cool, April release locked, summer feast incoming.” And then… boom. Out of nowhere, March started popping up in industry circles like a surprise guest nobody invited but everyone suddenly has opinions about. Something definitely feels off here.
The makers originally said April. Fans mentally circled April. Even theatres assumed April. But now the gossip mill says Ustaad might land on March 19 or March 26. If that’s true, the whole release plan is about to get messy. Because a March release means straight-up collision course at the box office, no breathing room.
For now, March 2026 looks like a traffic jam where everyone thinks their shortcut is smart and then all get stuck in one single-lane road anyway. Adivi Sesh's Dacoit and Kannada KGF actor Yash's Toxic are both eyeing March 19 like that date is the only VIP seat left. Nani's The Paradise is chilling at March 26… but rumour has it they’re already planning the “casually move to April” escape.
And then there’s Peddi starrer Ram Charan, the only one in the whole lineup acting like a calm topper in class. No shivering, no shifting. Their first song Chikiri Chikiri already clicked, the second song is lined up, and the team is full-on confident. They’re not moving. They’re not even pretending to think about moving.
Which puts Ustaad in a tricky corner. A March 19 release means crashing headfirst into Toxic and Dacoit. A March 26 release means walking straight into Peddi and The Paradise’s shadow (unless Paradise quietly escapes). Either way, it’s not the clean solo release fans were hoping for.
All this sudden buzz has made things chaotic, but also kind of fun to watch. Someone will shift, someone won’t, and someone will pull a last-minute surprise. Whether Ustaad sticks to April or dives into March, that reveal is about to get interesting.
