As per the official statistics, Telugu States jointly share No.3 position in the category of States contributing highest Milk Production in the country.
Uttar Pradesh obtained the Top Ranking. Probably, This could be the only area UP leads apart from population, total area and MLA/MP seats. Whereas, Rajasthan claimed the second spot.
Milk Production in India stood at 140 million metric tons per day. There is a decline in the milk production due to various reasons like decrease in the number of finest breed cattle, water scarcity and failure in providing nutritious diet.
