Update: 2016-06-18 12:11 GMT
A spectacular footage of numerous giant Spider Crabs have been captured in the shores of Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne.

Australian Aquatic Scientist Sheree Marris claims she has never seen such huge number of giant spider crabs in Australia before. She rubbishes the assumption of the people that Port Phillip Bay is just marine wasteland. She also declared Melbourne is the most livable city not just above the water but also below the water.

Scientists assume, Crabs gather in big number for protection when they shed their hard outer shell at this time of the year.

Aquatic Scientists feel what was witnessed in Australian waters is a visual spectacle and people should go to watch it.
