An internal research survey that was conducted ahead of the United States Presidential elections to find out whom the Indian-Americans might support in the polls stated that NRIs are in favor of Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is not leaving any stone unturned to woo the Indian Americans. Trump respecting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resulted in Indian Americans supporting Trump, the survey stated.
The survey was conducted by Al Mason, co-chair of the Trump Victory, Indian American Finance Committee, and his team. The respondents said that Donald Trump keeping himself away from India's internal matters like Kashmir makes him popular with NRIs.
The friendship bond between Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the main driving force behind the Indian Americans, extending their supports to Donald Trump in the survey.
According to the survey, the battleground states, which enjoy a significant Indian American population are supporting Donald Trump. A lion share of the population in the states were traditionally Democratic party voters.
The Trump Administration and his team are hoping that the support shown by Indian Americans will in turn result in voting for Donald Trump.
Indian Americans are also in the opinion that the teamwork of Donald Trump and Narendra Modi can counter China globally.
