Jwala Gutta is someone who doesn't tolerate injustice in any form and that's the reason she was embroiled in a lot of controversies so far. But, Things seems to be changing in her favour after she launched her own Badminton Academy with the goal of nurturing and sponsoring young talent in the Country.
Within days after she launched her Badminton Academy, Jwala Gutta has been appointed as a Member of Sports Authority of India (SAI) governing body. SAI Secretary SS Chhabra informed the Hyderabadi Star about the decision of Sports Ministry.
In her Teenage itself, Jwala Gutta emerged as National Champion and she hold the record of being the topper in the country for 14 Times. She represented India at several International Events including Olympics and bagged a Bronze Medal at the 2011 World Championship.
The first meeting of SAI Governing Body is scheduled to happen on March 28th in Delhi. Jwala Gutta will be attending it if she accepts the post.
