I received Death Threats: Venu Madhav

Update: 2017-08-21 04:07 GMT
Comedian Venu Madhav filed a complaint at Nandyal Two-Town Police Station on Sunday night against the people who issued death threats to him.

In his complaint, Venu Madhav mentioned that he received a phone call from YCP Activists at 2 PM on August 19th. He complains Callers had used unparliamentary words while speaking with him. 'By 10.30 PM, A YCP Activist identified as Rajasekhar Reddy shared an abusive video lasting for 10 minute. By Sunday afternoon, Another video with a duration of 26 minutes surfaced on Youtube. I have been receiving death threats. Action should be taken against these people,' he mentioned in the complaint submitted to DSP Ramana Murthy and CI Degala Prabhakar.

Since few days, Venu Madhav has been campaigning for the victory of TDP Candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy in Nandyal by-election. Some of his comments, 'Who is Roja?' & 'TDP is only focusing on Majority as it's victory is imminent' hasn't gone down well with YCP Loyalists.
