Amid Election Loss Jagan Meeting Leaders Regularly!
For the past few days, YCP has been putting serious effort into looking at the reasons for the defeat.
The 2024 election results came as a rude shock to the YSRCP as the party suffered a big defeat. YCP won 151 seats in 2019 and put up a big show. But everything had gone for a toss in the recent elections. The wave got shifted towards the alliance and YCP won just 11 seats.
For the past few days, YCP has been putting serious effort into looking at the reasons for the defeat. A few leaders are openly saying that I-Pac and surveys should be blamed. Jagan is meeting leaders at the camp office to discuss various issues.
Former Ministers and former MPs were present at the meeting. It is said that they discussed the reason behind the meeting and how the public mandate got shifted to the alliance from YCP.
One after the other the leaders are coming out and blaming Volunteers and I-PAC with their reasons. We have seen Kokkiligadda Rakshana Nidhi making sensational comments. He asked what Jagan did as the Chief Minister except for pressing the buttons.
Amid this, the crucial meeting was chaired by Jagan with former Ministers and others in attendance. It is said that the leaders gave opinions on the defeat.
Besides the defeat, the leaders are also said to have discussed the issue of attacks on YCP cadres after the elections. The leaders also expressed their concerns about this and gave their thoughts on how to go further. There is a need for YCP to bounce back from the defeat as it won just 11 seats.
